The video below shows some of the cast performing the opening song to the musical, The Circle of Life. Filmed in 2005, the cast performed the song on the BBC for the first time ever on television, for a special feature of Strictly Come Dancing. The performance shows Rafiki singing the lead and was met with a great response from the audience.
The video below shows characters Rafiki and Simba singing the song He Lives In You on GMTV. The performance was to mark the 10th anniversary of The Lion King in the West End in 2009.
The Lion King shows five evenings a week at 7.30pm, from Tuesday to Saturday, with matinees on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2.30pm. The running-time for the show is 2 hours and 45 minutes including a short interval of fifteen minutes.
